Review that sticks
Spaced repetition resurfaces your weakest words at exactly the right moment, so what you learn actually lasts.
Why it's different
Built for the languages others overlook
Words, honestly counted
Words are counted by their base form: "parlo", "parli", and "parliamo" are one word, "parlare". When the app says you know a hundred Italian words, you know a hundred words.
See every word you know
Each word shows its strength: new, weak, medium, strong, or mastered. Words you leave alone slowly fade, and every review builds them back up.
Hear every word
Every word and example sentence comes with natural native audio, so you learn how Italian sounds, not just how it is spelled.

Common questions
How many Italian words do I need?
There is no magic number, but the most common everyday words do most of the work in real conversations. That is why the course starts with them and builds, series by series, toward the vocabulary of a B1 learner.
Is this a Duolingo alternative for vocabulary?
You can use it on its own or next to Duolingo or a class. Llenguapp is built around vocabulary: every word is a flashcard with native audio and an example sentence, and you can see each word you have learned and how strong it is.
Does it count conjugations as new words?
No. "Parlo", "parli", and "parliamo" all count as one word, "parlare". Your word count is the number of real words you know, not the number of forms you have seen.
Does it use flashcards with audio?
Yes. Every Italian word you learn becomes a smart flashcard with native audio and an example sentence, and spaced review brings it back right before you would forget it.
Can I learn Italian vocabulary online?
Yes. It runs in the browser on your phone or computer. Sign in with Google and your first lesson is ready in a couple of minutes.
How does the free trial work?
You get 7 days free with full access. No charge during the trial, and you can stop any time.
What does it cost after the trial?
$12 per month, or about $90 per year, with every language included.
